Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh appeared in an ad together for the first time after their daughter Dua's birth. They were last seen in 'Singham Again'. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s favorite couples, made their first appearance together on screen since the birth of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.
They featured in an advertisement for an air conditioner, which the brand shared with fans, writing, “Good looks, good looks & good looks!" In the ad, Ranveer humorously mentions how guests at their party were more interested in the air conditioner than Deepika’s food or stories. After Deepika gets upset, Ranveer charms her by saying he bought the AC just for her. The clip ends with a sweet kiss from Deepika to Ranveer.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, where Deepika played Shakti Shetty, aka Lady Singham, and Ranveer returned as Simmba from the popular cop universe. The film also featured a stellar ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Before this, the duo had shared the screen in several successful films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018), and 83 (2021), with their chemistry consistently winning hearts.
They also made cameo appearances in each other’s films, Finding Fanny (2014) and Cirkus (2023). After dating for several years, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018 in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. In September 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, and introduced her to the world during Diwali.
They shared her name, Dua Padukone Singh, along with a touching post that read, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude.
" Next up, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Dhurandhar. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film commenced production in July 2024.
