” The film Bichhoo was produced by Bobby Deol’s father Dharmendra. It is an adaptation of the 1994 English-language French film Léon: The Professional. The film was liked by masses and was a super hit at the box office.
In the film, Bobby played the role of an assassin while Rani Mukerji was his love interest. Reportedly, Rani Mukerji’s character created a lot of controversy at that time, as she portrayed a teenage girl who smokes in the film. Many critics thought that this might attract teenagers to smoking as she was her idol.
Despite this controversy, it emerged hit at that time. Bichhoo was the last film featuring Bobby Deol and Rani Mukerji together. They haven’t appeared on-screen together since.
