At least 98 people were killed and over 155 injured when the roof of a nightclub in Santo Domingo collapsed during a concert in the early hours of April 8, the Dominican Republic’s Emergency Operations Center confirmed.The collapse took place at the Jet Set Club around 12:45 am, local news reported. Former Major League Baseball player Octavio Dotel and Nelsy Cruz, the governor of Monte Cristi province, were among those killed.
