'Deadpool & Wolverine': Ryan Reynolds reveals the 'haunting' advice he received from Kevin Feige

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer ' Deadpool & Wolverine ' released worldwide on July 26. The Shawn Levy directorial film emerged as a hit. In a recent interview, Reynolds opened up about ' Deadpool & Wolverine ' and revealed the advice Marvel boss Kevin Feige gave that 'haunted' him while making the film.

Speaking with Deadline, Ryan shared, "He (Kevin) said something that sounds very pedantic and is probably not the thing to say out loud, but actually, weirdly, served as a creative engine. He was like, 'Make every scene great.' And I was like, 'Thanks, Kev.



Sounds good.'" The actor further said that, as production on the film began, Feige's words 'haunted me', as it's 'hard' to make something 'great'. Marvel and Disney heads did not interfere much and were 'great partners'. In the same interview, Ryan also revealed that there was one line of dialogue that Disney asked him to remove, which he admitted was the right thing to do. " The dialogue was replaced by a joke about Pinocchio.

In 'Deadpool & Wolverine', Ryan's character Deadpool jokes, "It's like Pinocchio jammed his face in my a** and started lying like crazy." ' Deadpool & Wolverine ' grabbed attention for multiple reasons. One of the reasons fans loved the film is because of the great cameos by Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans, and Wesley Snipes among others.
