Deadly crash causes I-25 closure

The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed between University Boulevard and Santa Fe Drive.

DENVER — The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed for miles after a deadly crash in Denver Friday evening. The Denver Police Department said two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened in the northbound lanes of I-25 near Santa Fe Drive just after 6 p.m.

One person was killed, police said. The other driver had minor injuries. The northbound lanes are closed between Santa Fe Drive and University Boulevard.



Police have not provided any estimate as to how long the closure will last. The cause of the crash is under investigation..
