The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Charles Singleton, a 68-year-old man who was reported missing from the area. Singleton, described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds, left his residence at 2298 Highway 78 in Dorchester around 4 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 13. His family reported him missing the following day at 2:36 p.
m. after he failed to return home and could not be reached. According to his wife, Singleton suffers from mental health issues, raising concerns about his well-being.
He was last seen wearing green track or sweatpants with green stripes and a long-sleeve black shirt. Authorities urge anyone who sees Singleton or knows his whereabouts to call the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 843-873-5111.
