Days of Our Lives will see the return of a familiar face soon.The long-running Peacock soap opera TV series is known for its many surprising cast exits and returns, and while we knew about this one for a while, it’s finally about to play out onscreen.The fan favorite TV show centers around trials, tribulations, fantasies and tragedies of the families, friends, enemies and lovers in the fictional city of Salem.

It’s been nearly three years since her last Days of Our Lives appearance, when Sami stormed out of town, vowing never to return. “I remembered Sami’s grand exit storming out of the DiMera mansion,” the actress recalled upon learning about the comeback. “I was interested to hear how and why they were bringing Sami back to town.

With Sami it could be anything.”She went on to tease: “It was definitely an unexpected storyline they pitched me. I have to tell you, of all the ideas, I was pretty shocked,” and added she “was thrilled to be invited to return.
