Dax Shepard and Monica Padman host the podcast Armchair Expert , and they recently interviewed actor and singer Dove Cameron. One moment from the interview where Dax admits Dove's tattoo made him cry is going viral on TikTok . "You did make me cry today seeing the tattoo you got," Dax starts, then pauses through tears.
"I have little girls, and I say that same thing to them all the time," he explains, beginning to fully cry. The two are both in tears at this point, and Dove expresses how beautiful she thinks Dax having that kind of relationship with his daughters is. "If they had to tattoo that on them at some point because something went sideways, you know? It is just heartbreaking," Dax explains.
Monica then asks Dove if she is willing to share what the tattoo is. "It says, 'We'll be friends forever,'" reveals Dove, holding up the back of her hand to show it. You can't see it in the clip, but Dove has shared the tattoo on her TikTok if you want to see it.
Dax can't hold back the tears at this point, saying, "Oh my god. I say that to them every day on the way to school." "I'm like, 'You know we're going to be best friends for the rest of your — my life.
.. 'We're best friends from this day until the end,'" he says, allowing all of his emotions to come through.
Dove emphasized how moved she was to hear Dax say that. "That's what it should be..
. I truly was best friends with my dad. He tried his best.
" Dove then opens up about her father passing away when she was just 15 . During that time, she was starring in the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie . People on TikTok were moved by this interaction for obvious reasons, so it is no surprise the video is going viral.
