Davina McCall's partner is going through an ordeal 'almost worse' than the cancer -striken presenter, her pal Amanda Holden claimed. Chatting to JK and Ashley Roberts about former Big Brother presenter Davina's ongoing health battle, Amanda said that what her boyfriend, Michael Douglas, is 'going through' is 'almost worse'. Explaining her sympathy for Michael, she said: "I think waiting by someone's bedside is almost worse than going through it yourself.

" Earlier in the show, the Britain's Got Talent judge gave fans an update on her friend's health: "It is just the most shocking awful thing, and I always just think you find that kind of news out on a random Tuesday in a week were nothing happens.
