David Benavidez (29-0) hasn’t fought since last June when he defeated Oleksandr Gvozdyk via unanimous decision to win the WBC interim light heavyweight title. Prior to Gvozdyk, he knocked out four of his previous five opponents. David Morrell (11-0) also only competed once last year.
