Russell Henley narrowly beat Collin Morikawa for a $4million prize after he made an eagle on the par-5 16th hole. But the incredible shot wasn't fully captured by NBC Sports, who had gone to a commercial break after Morikawa and Henley's approach shots.
With Henley far to the right of the green, the channel was playing a Rolex commercial before switching back to the action as Henley's shot was already rolling into the hole. And Portnoy called out the gaffe on social media, posting a clip of the incident and sarcastically writing 'Sweet coverage @NBCGolf.' 'Gotta rep that Rolex I guess, but it would've been dope to see that s** live,' one fan wrote on X in reply to the Barstool Sports boss' post.
