Dave Franco says 'nothing would make me happier' than returning to Jump Street

Dave Franco has hinted that he would be interested in starting at 23 Jump Street at the Sundance Film Festival 2025 . Franco iconically brought humor and charm to his role as Eric Molson in the hit comedy 21 Jump Street (2012) and its sequel 22 Jump Street (2014). Portraying a high school drug dealer, Franco’s character became a key antagonist opposite Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s undercover cop duo.

"I wish it happens," Franco stated. "Nothing would make me happier," he added.



Last year Jump Street co-star Channing Tatum said he still remains hopeful about making 23 Jump Street, in an interview with ComicBook.com last year. Tatum expressed continued interest in the third installment of the Jump Street series.

" Sony Pictures initially put the film into development in September 2014, hiring screenwriter Rodney Rothman to draft the script. The project took an ambitious turn when plans emerged to create a crossover with the Men in Black franchise. In remains unclear whether or not 23 Jump Street will make the Hollywood big screen.
