For the second time in four months, RCMP executed a search warrant at a business on Main Street in Dauphin and seized unstamped cigarettes, tobacco and vaping devices. Police raided the business at about 8:30 a.
m. Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation, Dauphin RCMP said in a media release Friday. When officers arrived, only the owner was inside the store.

(File) In both raids, police also seized stamped cigarettes and cigars, claiming the cigars were being sold illegally as singles. Other items seized Thursday included unstamped flavoured nicotine pouches, stamped vaping devices and vaping liquid, and four bottles of liquor, which police allege was being sold without a permit. Police arrested a 52-year-old Dauphin man and charged him with various offences under the Excise Act and the Tax Administration and Miscellaneous Taxes Act.
