So Kingpin takes the first step towards realizing this dream by throwing all his enemies in cells.While speaking with Variety about the ending of Daredevil: Born Again, D’Onofrio noted, “His grand plan is martial law, and while he can hold the city in martial law, to complete as many crimes as he can and get rid of the vigilantes. That would be included in his mindset of being able, at some point, to expand his reach beyond New York.

”The veteran actor also reaffirmed that Kingpin has “bigger plans than just New York City,” but will prioritize conquering his native city first. Despite his detailed explanation of Daredevil: Born Again’s ending, D’Onofrio refrained from sharing any plot details about Season 2. When asked about Daredevil’s Shadowland outfit, he simply replied, “That’s a very good question.
