2 heavyweight ranking with the governing body.It would be a thrilling spectacle, but ‘Dynamite’ would be an overwhelming favourite to win, given Chisora is in his twilight stages as a 41-year-old.Renowned trainer Charles currently works with Dubois and has him in the form of his life, which has seen him thrust right to the pinnacle of the division.

But Charles also guided the career of Chisora for 31 fights, and doesn’t want to come up against his former charge over health fears. He said during an appearance on talkSPORT Breakfast: “I wouldn’t like to see this fight for a lot of reasons.“Firstly because of his age, there is a lot of mileage on the clock to face off against a human being who is in his physical prime.

“I wouldn’t want to see that for Derek, he has 49 fights and I have trained him for 38 of them.“I wouldn’t want to see it for health reasons, but in my other heart Derek deserves a good send-off.“He deserves a big-money fight, a huge exit and he entertains the fans and is a crowd favourite.

“I wouldn’t want to see that because I’m emotionally connected to Derek, it wouldn’t be good for me to be in the opposite corner with Daniel.Charles has steered Dubois to a world title and he’d be huge favourite to beat ChisoraGetty“So I wouldn’t want to see it happen, but in Derek’s case what a send-off it would be.“I’m not the governing body who commissioned it, I’m just a trainer and caught in the middle.

“But if I’m called upon by my guy Daniel Dubois, then I am a professional.”Dubois is caught in a heavyweight conundrum right now with Chisora one of many potential options.Initially, it appeared the current champion wanted a shot at undisputed glory in a planned rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

If they can get that fight on, that’s the fight I want next.“It’s unfinished business and it’s left a bitter taste in my mouth. I want to fight them all.

I want to fight Parker definitely.“For me, that’s unfinished business. All I know is I’ll be fighting in July.

“That’s what I’ve heard. There’s a date in July for me. Which one of them they’ll get for me I don’t know.

I don’t really care.”Follow talkBOXING on social mediatalkBOXING is now on Twitter and Facebook.Follow us on social media for big breaking boxing news, exclusive interviews and the best bits from our talkBOXING YouTube show.
