The delay is reportedly due to “delays to production and casting .” A year after No Time to Die premiered in September 2021, producer Barbara Broccoli said there would be “at least a year” before filming could kick off. “There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond,” Broccoli said in June 2022.

“We’re reinventing who he is, and that takes time. I’d say that filming is at least two years away.” Craig , who starred as Bond in five films from 2006 to 2021, explained: “One, for the franchise, was that reset, start again, which [the franchise] did with me.

..So let’s kill my character off and go find another Bond and go find another story.

Start at [age] 23, start at 25, start at 30.” DON'T MISS: Lana Del Rey recorded Bond theme song but was rejected in favor of Sam Smith [REVEALED] James Bond hopeful Aaron Taylor-Johnson rocks wild look for upcoming sequel [LATEST] Kim Kardashian wants to star in next James Bond movie with a unique twist [INSIGHT] As Craig moved on, he embraced new roles and style changes, from his character in Knives Out to his fashion debut in LOEWE’s FW24 campaign.
