The cold stretch that kept much of the Northland frigid through the weekend continues, with morning lows being in the 20s below zero for much of the area. Throughout the day, we still have a mix of sunshine and clouds, but temperatures will remain in the 10s and single digits below zero. Winds will remain around 5-15 mph, and that will be enough to knock wind chills into the 30s and 40s below zero, especially in the early morning.

Tuesday will have another bitterly cold start; skies stay clear overnight, and temperatures will once again plummet into the 20s below zero. However, through the day, we start to see that breeze swing around, and by the afternoon, temperatures will be close to zero. ADVERTISEMENT Going through the end of the week, clouds will become more prominent through the region, however temperatures will melow out for much of the region, staying in the teens heading to the start of next week.
