Monday Night Football in Week 11 featured an all-Texas matchup between the Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys. Houston came in with a 6-4 record, looking to grow its 1.5-game lead in the AFC South.
On the other hand, Dallas was 3-6 and just trying to keep its season afloat. Before kickoff at AT&T Stadium, a large piece of sheet metal fell from the roof as the players began taking the field for warm-ups. Fox 4 News' Jeff Kolb took to social media to share a picture of it after it landed on the field.
"Dangerous moment just now inside @ATTStadium where a big piece of sheet metal fell from the roof and almost hit multiple production people," Kolb wrote in his post. com/Z6VzzMn75T It's been just over a week since sunlight streamed through the stadium’s uncovered windows and blinded wide receiver CeeDee Lamb , causing him to drop a wide-open touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones was asked about it and dismissed the issue. In his response, he sarcastically suggested tearing down the entire stadium and building a new one.
“Well, let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one," Jones said . "Are you kidding me?..
. Everybody has the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues.

The Cowboys released a statement shortly after: We can confirm a piece of metal came loose and fell to the field (with some additional small debris) while the roof was in the process of opening. There were no injures. It is being reviewed further, and a decision regarding the ability to re-open the roof safely will be made when possible.
