Dance, play & pedal as Happy Streets returns to Kharadi

Pune: Kharadi is all set to come alive with vibrant energy on Sunday morning. Happy Streets — an initiative by The Times of India in association with Kolte Patil will transform the Kharadi South Main Road into a lively car-free zone. From 6.

30 am to 10am, the stretch between Samvidhan Chowk and Reliance Smart will become a playground for fitness enthusiasts, families and fun-seekers. The event will feature a variety of engaging zones catering to all age groups. The main stage will host lively Bollywood dance and Zumba sessions, open to everyone.



Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at football, basketball, badminton, archery and table tennis, while adventure lovers can enjoy skateboarding, waveboarding and hula hoop activities. A dedicated children's zone promises hours of fun with mini golf, giant Jenga, mini bowling, carrom, chess and interactive hand-and-feet games. Music lovers can join the rhythmic beats of the drum circle, and those looking for inner peace can participate in yoga, Sahaja Yoga and Falun Dafa meditation sessions led by experts.

The event also invites participants to get creative with colourful street art, enjoy traffic-free cycling and engage in multiple fitness activities. A cycle station will provide bicycles, ensuring everyone can make the most of the car-free zone. Happy Streets is the perfect opportunity for Kharadi residents to come together, get active and celebrate community spirit.
