Entering UFC Vegas 105 with a lot of pressure on his shoulders, McKee put on the best performance of his career , knocking down Frunza four times in the opening round. After Frunza made it to the horn, the doctor waved off the fight as Frunza suffered from multiple serious lacerations.

Before that win, Frunza made a name for himself in LFA, including a buzzer-beating finish at LFA 170 to earn the attention of the UFC matchmakers. As for McKee, he etched his first UFC win at UFC Vegas 105. After earlier UFC losses to Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Morono, McKee is a name to watch in the welterweight division as 2025 presses on.
Frunza vs. McKee wasn’t the only highlight at UFC Vegas 105. UFC middleweight star Torrez Finney earned a debut win , albeit in sluggish fashion, to prove White wrong in his previous assessments.
