Dan Lanning and the No. 1 Oregon Ducks are one of college football's most dominant teams at this point in the 2024 season. And with a blowout 38-17 win over the reigning National Champion Michigan Wolverines this past Saturday, they furthered that reputation.
Lanning and the Ducks marched into The Big House and dominated the Wolverines at ever level. The score was so lopsided that Michigan fans started to file out of the stadium early. This is exactly what Lanning envisioned for his team when they began their preparation for this highly-anticipated college football matchup.
The most recent episode of the "Ducks Vs. Them" documentary series shows Lanning preparing his team for the game using Ridley Scott's classic movie "Gladiator." Lanning called a timeout during the fourth quarter to address his team and ask Michigan fans leaving early a simple question.
