Dak Prescott has sent a message of support to Trey Lance after the third-sting quarterback departed the Dallas Cowboys.Lance, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year contract worth up to $6.
2million.Lance was a third-string QB in Dallas, but has signed a lucrative contract with the ChargersHe departs Dallas having played four games last season, behind both Prescott and Cooper Rush.Lance, who turns 25 next month, has passed for 1,063 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions in 12 career games to date.
He has added 276 rushing yards and one score on the ground.Prescott, who has been the franchise starter for the Cowboys since 2016, sent a warm message to Lance once news of his departure was confirmed.“Yesssir! LFG (Let’s F***ing Go),” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram, re-sharing a post from the Chargers that welcomed their new QB to LA.
