Bayern vs. City showdown over Wirtz (Manchester City News) Bayern Munich could be honing in on Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz, but Manchester City is going to make a strong push to get the Germany international in hopes of having him replace Kevin De Bruyne: Florian Wirtz looks like he’ll become the centre of a hugely expensive transfer battle in the summer, with some of Europe’s big-hitters wanting to sign the Bayer Leverkusen man, including Man City. Manchester City are tasked with replacing Kevin De Bruyne this summer, after he announced he’ll be leaving Man City this summer when his contract expires.

The 33-year-old will no doubt prove tough to replace, if not impossible to replace with the 33-year-old having been a one-of-a-kind player for Pep Guardiola and Man City over the years. But one name who Pep seems to think could replace De Bruyne is Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz. Man City have been making checks on Wirtz throughout the season, but City aren’t alone: Real Madrid and Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich are also interested in the German international, who’s reportedly valued at a whopping €150million (£130million).

Manchester City News were recently told by transfer expert Graeme Bailey that Wirtz is open to joining Man City this summer and that Pep is ready to break the bank to sign the 21-year-old. It still feels like that if Wirtz leaves Bayer Leverkusen (which seems really likely now), Bayern Munich will be his destination. Contact has already been made with the 21-year-old’s representatives over a deal that will reportedly require an offer worth €70m. The Blues, who could face competition for Sesko from Arsenal, are also considering a £40m move for Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap, 22, as manager Enzo Maresca looks to reinforce his attack for next season. Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan in the summer after falling out with Napoli but failing to secure a permanent move before the transfer deadline, and the Nigeria international has scored 28 goals in 32 games since moving to Turkey. Juve hope to convince Osimhen to stay in Serie A next season by joining them, but there is also the chance of a move to the Premier League with Manchester United . Adam Aznou is just 18 years old but has made a name for himself playing for Real Valladolid, on loan from Bayern. A Barcelona native who represents Morocco internationally, Aznou was a part of La Masia and is said to be a good friend of Lamine Yamal’s. The youngster then signed for Bayern, and eventually went on loan.

Primarily a left-back, he can also play as a left-winger and a right-back. Despite Barcelona’s reported interest, the move may not materialize as Bayern have little interest in transferring him at this stage and see him as a backup to Alphonso Davies. Barcelona are looking for fullback depth, but they may be forced to look elsewhere in the upcoming transfer window .

Elliott getting looks (ESPN) Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott has a lot of eyes on him these days: Newcastle United and several clubs from the Bundesliga are keeping tabs on Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott, Football Insider has reported. The 21-year-old has found game time hard to come by at Anfield this season and has been linked with a move away in the summer.

However, one complication for any future deal could be his valuation, which is thought to be between £40m and £50m.
