Bayern to sell Kane this summer? (The Hard Tackle) As we all know now, Bayern Munich star striker Harry Kane has a release clause in his contract. It has been widely thought that Kane would play at least one more year and either leave the club on a transfer in 2026..

.or as a free agent in 2027. Now, though, there is a report stating that Bayern Munich will not stand in Kane’s way if he wants to leave this summer: Manchester United , Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on alert as Bayern Munich prepare to sell Harry Kane.

Harry Kane’s time at Bayern Munich may be shorter than expected, with reports emerging that the German giants are open to selling the English striker if a Premier League club meets his £67 million release clause. Despite signing a long-term contract that runs until 2027, Kane’s future in Bavaria is already uncertain, sparking speculation about a sensational return to England. Among the clubs monitoring the situation, Tottenham Hotspur, Kane’s former team, are reportedly keen on re-signing their all-time leading scorer.

His return to North London would instantly bolster Spurs’ attack, while also giving him the chance to pick up where he left off in the Premier League. However, they face stiff competition from both Arsenal and Manchester United. For Arsenal, signing Kane would be a statement of intent, potentially providing the final piece of the puzzle in their push for a Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta has lacked a truly world-class striker, and Kane’s presence would instantly elevate their attacking options. Meanwhile, Manchester United have long been linked with the England captain, and with their ongoing search for a reliable goalscorer, Kane could be the ideal solution to lead their line. However, given their recent decline, it could very well prove to be a step down for the English legend.

According to Fichajes, while Bayern Munich are not actively pushing for Kane’s exit, they would not stand in his way if a club triggers his release clause. At £67 million, the price tag is relatively modest for a player of Kane’s calibre, making him an attractive option for any top English club looking to secure an elite goalscorer. Admittedly, this is a little hard to believe, but if Bayern Munich wins the Bundesliga and/or Champions League , Kane will have won that elusive first trophy — and might be inclined to head back home.

It still feels like a 2026 exit is the most likely scenario, but maybe it is a situation to keep an eye on.
