Amid massive buzz which was partly fueled by controversial remarks made by Urvashi Rautela , her film Daaku Maharaaj opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna hit theaters on January 12. The film also grabbed everyone's attention because of the song Dabidi Dibidi, which was also slammed on social media. Now, the film has made its way to OTT and is available on Netflix.

Ahead of its OTT release, there were rumours of Urvashi Rautela’s scenes being edited out from the film. But is there any truth to these claims? A poster of the film Daaku Maharaj was shared to announce the film’s OTT release date.



But what caught everyone’s attention was the removal of Urvashi Rautela from the poster. She was noticeably absent from the big poster that featured the lead cast. This led to several speculations, and several reports suggested that scenes of Urvashi Rautela have been removed from Daaku Maharaj’s OTT version.

However, the reports have turned out to be false. No scene featuring Urvashi has been cut from the film. In fact, even the controversial song Dabidi Dibidi has been retained for the film's OTT version.

One of the statements made by her during promotions about attack on Saif Ali Khan had called for a major backlash.

When asked about attack on Saif, she said, "It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don't feel confident to wear it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us.

Whatever happened was very unfortunate." She was heavily criticised for the same. Later, she apologised for her remarks.
