Two yet-to-be-identified suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Customs Service, Western Marine Command, along with over 4,973 loaves of Cannabis sativa found in their possession. The NCS disclosed this on Friday on its X handle, adding that the two suspects and the illegal drugs recovered have been handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for further investigation and prosecution. The Command said it had also handed over 195 bottles of 300ml codeine recovered to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.

According to the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Paul Bamisaiye, the handover took place at the command on Wednesday.
