Todos son bienvenidos: Culpeper Fiesta is Friday Join your neighbors at the 18th annual Culpeper Fiesta, a free, family-friendly event, from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, in the Downtown Depot District.

Sponsors are UVA Health, Culpeper Literacy Council, VA 811, Healthy Culpeper and the Town of Culpeper. On the main stage, from 6-7 p.m.



, will be Mariachi Arriero, serenading attendees throughout the evening. Other entertainment will include the Sycamore Park Student Dancers, Latin Legacy youth group and Zumba led by MFA studios. Dancing in the street will be the theme of the evening, so attendees are encouraged to wear their dancing shoes.

DJ Rosales will be spinning Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue and other Latin favorites beginning at 8:30 p.m. with special guest, La Hora Loca, kicking it up a notch at 9 p.

m. The food court will be on East Davis Street and in the grassy area, featuring eight local food entrepreneurs. Reasonably priced cuisine will offer a variety of Hispanic dishes for sale, inspired by the flavors of Honduras, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico and El Salvador.

If it is stormy, the Fiesta will be canceled. There is no rain date. Occasional light sprinkles will not deter the party.

Plant propagation demo today at garden club meeting The Culpeper Garden Club will be demonstrating numerous plant propagation methods at 2 p.m. today at the Culpeper Methodist Church; enter from the back parking lot.

The program is targeted to home gardeners interested in producing new plants from their existing ones. Plant propagation is an easy and inexpensive way to enhance your garden. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.

Charity Day Friday at Tidal Wave Auto Spa Tidal Wave Auto Spa is pleased to announce its 16th annual Charity Day, benefiting local charities and nonprofits, is on Friday.
