In 2023, Helen Ati, the alleged Kenyan baby mama of socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, accused him of fathering her child. Initially, the issue garnered little attention, but it resurfaced in January 2025 following a feud between Cubana Chiefpriest and singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy. The drama escalated when Burna Boy took to Instagram, referring to Chiefpriest as the Owerri version of popular American rapper, Rick Ross.

In a surprising twist, Burna Boy gifted Cubana Chiefpriest’s alleged brother $30,000 in a viral video and offered to support Helen, even proposing to bring her to Nigeria for a DNA test which she had been advocating for. However, plans fell through after content creator, Lucky Udu, who facilitated the connection, claimed that Burna Boy withdrew his support due to suspicious activities surrounding the situation. Recounting her experience in an Instagram post dated January 11, 2025, she revealed that just two weeks after their son was born in January 2023, Cubana Chiefpriest sent her N50,000 for baby supplies after she pleaded for help due to complications from childbirth.

This gesture was repeated a few more times, totaling N300,000—approximately 25,000 Kenyan shillings. However, she noted that Chiefpriest denied paternity. In one playful challenge, she suggested a 100-metre race. According to her, if she won, the DNA test should be conducted; if not, the matter should be dropped. Recently, she expressed her frustrations again, lamenting that her life had taken a downturn since their involvement.

She even resorted to reaching out to many of his associates, including his wife, and been soliciting funds online for her child’s schooling expenses. Meanwhile, Chiefpriest continues to assert his non-paternity stance and has confronted anyone who questions him publicly about the issue. A blogger, Radiogad, recently suggested that he should undergo the DNA test to quell the ongoing drama.

In response, Chiefpriest sent him series of messages, launching a tirade, and accusing him of being gay. In solidarity with Radiogad, Helen remarked that Chiefpriest should focus on her instead of targeting bloggers..
