
Cromer Food Services, Inc. is recalling all lots of its “CFS Cromer Food Services, Inc. brand Chicken Salad on White Sandwich” because the product contains undeclared milk, posing a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions for consumers with milk allergies or severe sensitivities.
The recall was prompted after an FDA routine inspection on March 25, 2025, revealed that the product label failed to list milk as an ingredient in the bread. The affected sandwiches were distributed between Dec. 26, 2024, and March 24, 2025, and sold primarily in Micro Markets and vending machines across Georgia and South Carolina.

As of the posting of this recall, no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported. The company is conducting this recall with the knowledge of the FDA.
Consumers with milk allergies or sensitivities are urged not to consume the product and to either discard it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
