A critically acclaimed show is set to have its European premiere at the Brighton Fringe. Katie Reddin-Clancy's 'End Game' will be performed at Ironworks Studios on May 10, 17, 18, and 31. The show, which focuses on the afterlife, legacy, and life's burning questions, has already had successful runs at the Adelaide and Melbourne Festivals.

'End Game' tells the story of Joanie, an eccentric cabaret performer, who finds herself in the afterlife. Guided by her spirit guide Pam, she embarks on a soul review, reflecting on her life and confronting the lessons of Earth School. The play explores the profound realisation that life is about the impact we have on others.



For Joanie, this means understanding her impact on Eva, a mysterious figure in her life. The show is described as part 'The Secret,' part 'Warrior of Light,' and part 'Eat, Pray, Love.' It highlights the big questions that many are afraid to answer, exploring one woman's journey at Earth School as she searches for her soul's purpose.

This is a character-driven dramedy with original storytelling and bold cabaret moments. The show is a darkly comedic solo performance that blends evocative theatre, taking audiences on a journey filled with emotion and surprising revelations. It is described as a show for anyone who has asked "what am I doing here?" and understands that the universe we exist in is so much bigger than our brains can compute.

The show is rated M15+ and includes themes of suicide, alcohol, drugs, and swearing. It has a duration of 60 minutes. Award-winning actor and writer Katie Reddin-Clancy, who is based in Brighton, is a multi-disciplinary artist who is particularly interested in work that awakens, inspires, and brings joy through storytelling from the female, outsider’s perspective.

Her show 'Grace' was nominated for Best New Play at the Brighton Fringe in 2018. She premiered 'End Game' at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, taking it to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and finishing with the Sydney Comedy Festival. The show has received positive reviews, with Stage Whispers describing it as "brilliantly observed, original, and always intriguing.
