Crews responded to a crash Friday night in the 500 block of Conchester Highway in Upper Chichester Township. The call shortly after 6:30 p.m.
was for a truck into a tree and the vehicle smoking near Cheslea Parkway. Radio traffic showed: First responders found one person unconscious with possible confinement. Crews needed about 10 minutes to extricate the individual.
It wasn’t clear from the radio traffic if that was the driver, but no other persons were mentioned. One MICU unit was en route to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with a patient. It was unclear how long the highway would be closed.
