AFTER painfully losing the PVL All-Filipino crown, Creamline wants to redeem its glory in the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League which will open shop on Easter Sunday April 20. The Cool Smashers’ mission in the event ending on April 27 at the Philsports Arena will be fortified by two more reinforcements from Russia and Kazakhstan. After bringing back American import Erica Staunton, Creamline made sure to beef up its frontline by tapping Russian wing spiker Anastasiya Kudryashova and Kazakh middle blocker Anastassiya Kolomoyets.

Both European players were former teammates in the Women’s National League in Kazakhstan as they played together for VC Kuanysh. Kolomoyets had a signficant experience playing in the AVC Women’s Champions League three years ago as she was with VC Kuanysh when they won the 2022 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, which was the old name of the continental tilt for pro club teams. / RP2 SPORTS.
