Ludhiana: A day after reports of untreated industrial discharge overflowing on Sanatan Mandir Road in ward 23, Municipal Corporation officials visited the site to assess the situation. Executive engineer Ranbir Singh deployed teams to identify the industrial units responsible for dumping untreated waste into the sewerage system. Water had accumulated on the road due to overflow and identifying defaulters was urgent.
