County Hall has proposed a programme of works at an iconic municipal building in the centre of an Isle of Wight seaside town. The town hall was built in the Neo-Classical style in the late 19th century, according to Historic England.

The council’s public consultation on the works will finish on May 19 and a decision is due on May 29. We do not moderate comments, but we expect readers to adhere to certain rules in the interests of open and accountable debate. You must verify your phone number before you can comment.
