A LUCKY Costco shopper has managed to bag themselves an incredible bargain on steak due to an accidental mislabel. The bargain hunter paid less than $22 for three thick ribeyes that weighed a whopping 3.55lbs due to what appeared to be a major packaging mistake.
Beef round eye steaks are known as a relatively cheap cut of meat compared to most other preferred steaks. Whereas ribeyes are often regarded as a much better quality and therefore fetch a drastically higher price. The average pound of a ribeye costs up to $13 meaning the very grateful shopper paid just half of what the actual pack should have cost.
