COSTCO has brought back a beloved food court item, but it's not quite the same as before. Members were delighted earlier this year to know that the dish would return to the warehouse retailer in a different form. Before its abrupt discontinuation in 2020, the combo pizza at Costco was all the rave — almost as popular as the signature $1.
50 hot dog deal. It was 18 inches wide and had 12 pieces for just $9.95 plus tax at Costco's over 600 warehouses.
Considering ingredients and toppings, the combo pizza was basically a supreme pizza that members might get at a local restaurant. That means it had sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green bell peppers, red onions, black olives, and cheese, per Food Republic . After it vanished in 2020, many customers were left distraught, and some even started a petition requesting Costco bring it back. Those pleas were answered in March 2024, with Costco noting the Kirkland Signature Combo Pizza would return, but the twist was that it was only available in a take-and-bake option. That meant customers could grab it cold in-store, take it home , and bake it themselves in the oven.

95 price point, the Kirkland Signature Combo pizza is now $16.99. Even with the approval of the take-home and bake option, Shannon also cried out that she "wish[ed] they brought back the combo pizza at the food court!" Other members also agreed with the pricing critique and the longing for the old combo pizza.

"You right, couple bucks less will be just fine!" another added. "Rip og food court combo pizza," a third wrote. There's also an option to get the pizza in a Margherita version for the same price point of $16.
99. CHICKEN CHAOS Another food court favorite — the chicken bakes — also caught attention in December for allegedly getting "30% skinnier." The chicken bake is a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese dressing baked inside a crispy crust shell.
"Got a chicken bake and it's absolutely a shell of its former glory," a disappointed Costco member wrote in a Reddit post. "Same length as they used to be but seems like 30% skinnier." Included in the post was an image of the customer holding two fingers up to the chicken bake to show the supposed difference in thickness.
Several other members agreed, claiming there was "shrinkage" and the chicken bakes were "far, far, far smaller" than years prior. Still, others argued that their local Costco hadn't changed the size of its chicken bakes.
