Costao OTT Release Update: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Priya Bapat starrer drama movie is based on real incidents that took place in the 1990s in Goa. It is about a man named Costao Fernandes, a customs officer who fought against a powerful smuggling racket in the state. Siddiqui will be seen portraying the role of a brave officer onscreen in this smuggling drama.
Costao is set to release on the OTT giant Zee5. Excited to know when you can watch this thrilling movie online? Here is what we know. As reported by Indiatimes, Costao is set to release on Zee5 on May 1, 2025 .
However, there is no official confirmation about the release date yet. On April 14, Zee5 shared a new teaser of the movie and wrote on Instagram “One Customs Officer. One Corrupt System.

The smuggling and corruption were at their peak in Goa. The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kishore Kumar G, Priya Bapat, Davina Colaco, Ravi Shankar Jaiswal, Dilkash Khan and Arjun Kumar Shrivasttav in significant roles. Costao has been directed by Bhavesh Mandalia and Meghna Srivastava.
The film has been helmed by Sejal Shah and backed by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Bhavesh Mandalia, Sejal Shah, Shyam Sunder, and Faizuddin Siddiqui. The first look of the film was shared by the OTT platform on April 11. In one of the posters, it was written “Bravery Comes At A Cost”.
