Coronation Street has aired a new flashback scene, which shines the spotlight on another suspect in . The ITV soap has been playing with time over the past couple of weeks, taking viewers back to the night that Joel was killed in late September. have been among the suspects included so far, along with , Ed and Ronnie Bailey.
Monday's episode has now officially to the list of possible culprits, as she's also keeping secrets about the evening that Joel was murdered. The latest visit to Weatherfield showed Lisa visibly flinch when tried to comfort her during a heart-to-heart at the Bistro. Carla feared that Lisa was coldly rejecting her support, but the truth behind her strange reaction was revealed once the police detective was back at home.
Lisa examined some intense bruising on her body, which explained why she hadn't wanted Carla to touch her. A subsequent flashback showed Lisa chasing someone through the Weatherfield Precinct on the night of Joel's death, hinting that she could have taken revenge against the villain. Lisa has appeared highly reluctant to step away from the Joel investigation in recent days, despite her colleague DC Kit Green taking over the case.
