Ludhiana: A video of an attack by a few persons on a student standing outside a school in Basant Avenue of Dugri has caught the attention of the police, who have started investigations. ADCP Shubham Aggarwal said that the SHO concerned has been asked to investigate and assured that action would be taken. He added that they were identifying the students.
CCTV footage shows some youths on a scooter stopping in the midst of a group of schoolchildren and attacking a student. Footage shows the victim’s schoolmates, teacher and security guard rushing to help him. Sources said that after friends of the youth intervened, attackers calmed down and both parties talked.
