Euronews Green brings you the latest updates from the UN climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. Yesterday a new set of draft texts dropped at the UN climate conference. As talks go in to overtime, countries are still working on what should and shouldn't be in the final deal.

So far the draft proposes a figure of $250bn by 2035 to replace a current $100bn contribution from rich countries that was set back in 2009. A wider, more aspirational goal "calls on all actors" to work on scaling up finance for developing countries from "all public and private sources" to $1.3 trillion a year by 2035.

Reactions yesterday from civil society groups and developing nations were far from positive. Brazilian chief negotiator - representing the next COP host country - told Euronews We're now waiting to hear countries' official comments and for next draft texts that may move us towards a compromise.
