Good morning and happy Tuesday. We're looking at cool and cloudy conditions across the Southland and the Santa Ana winds over the mountains are expected to die down by noon. Cool temperatures are expected today — we're looking at highs in the mid to upper 60s at the beaches.

Highs will be around 70 degrees for the valleys and Inland Empire. Meanwhile, high desert temperatures will reach the mid 60s. Enjoy the cool weather because tomorrow we're looking at slightly warmer conditions.

Then come Thursday, forecasters say there's a chance of showers at night. Tonight's lows will be in the 40s. Gusty northeast winds will blow through Santa Clarita, western San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica Mountains, the 5 Freeway corridor and Ventura County mountains until noon.
