Congressman recognizes Dixon farmer as climate champion

Helena, said in a statement released on Monday. Salinas operates Araceli Farms on Pitt School Road. “Ms.

Salinas has transformed her farm into a thriving native grassland meadow, prioritizing regenerative agriculture practices including soil health restoration, dry farming, biodiversity conservation, no till farming, integrated rotational grazing, natural pest management, and native plant reintegration. Her resilience, kindness, and unwavering dedication to ecological justice make her a powerful role model in Solano County and beyond. I am honored to name Ms.

Salinas as a Climate Crisis Champion,” Thompson stated. Thompson reaches out across all five counties in his 4th District to announce his annual climate champions. Yocha Dehe Chairman Anthony Roberts was recognized as the Yolo County Climate Crisis Champion.

He and the tribe are very active in Solano County as well, recently donating another $1 million to Solano County Health & Social Services projects – bringing the total donations to $8.75 million.
