Video The US government has known about aliens since the 1940s, but kept the truth from us all, according to testimony offered at a Wednesday session of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. The two-hour hearing – titled "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth" – included claims that the US is secretly developing alien tech for its own ends, and some bizarre questions about whether human/alien hybrids are being developed. Evidence for the above was offered by four so-called whistleblowers who claimed the US government actively covered up evidence.

"Furthermore, the US is in possession of [Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena] UAP technologies, as are some of our adversaries.
I believe we are in the midst of a multi-decade, secretive arms race – one funded by misallocated taxpayer dollars and hidden from our elected representatives and oversight bodies." Retired Navy rear admiral Dr Tim Gallaudet testified that during naval exercises in 2015, an F/A-18 Super Hornet caught sight of a UAP, and captured the infamous "Go Fast" video which depicts an unknown object in the air. Youtube Video Gallaudet claimed a fleet operations officer emailed him and others asserting, "We are having multiple near-midair collisions, and if we do not resolve it soon, we will have to shut down the exercise." He said the email disappeared the next day. The retired senior officer also asserted "elements of the government are engaging in a disinformation campaign to include personal attacks designed to discredit UAP whistleblowers," and asked the assembled politicians to help.
Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) asked panelists if they are familiar with "rumors that have come up to the Hill of a secretive project within the Department of Defense involving the manipulation of human genetics with what is described as non-human genetic material, potentially for the enhancement of human capabilities – hybrids." All four speakers said no, apparently having missed The X-Files back in the '90s. "Are there any accounts of UAPs emerging from, or submerging into, our water, which could indicate a base or presence beneath the ocean's surface," she suggested.
Again, no one offered support, but one panelist – journalist Michael Shellenberger – stated that UAPs have been reported emerging from beneath the waves. The trigger for the session was the release of the Department of Defense's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office's annual report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. "AARO resolved 118 cases during the reporting period, all of which resolved to prosaic objects such as various types of balloons, birds, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS)," the report [PDF] concluded.
Which is reassuring, if disappointing. Given the state of the world these days it would be kind of nice to be able to blame it on aliens. "As of May 31, 2024, AARO has an additional 174 cases queued for closure, pending a final review and Director's approval.
As of the publishing date of this report, all 174 cases have been finalized as resolved to prosaic objects including balloons, birds, UAS, satellites, and aircraft. Many other cases remain unresolved and AARO continues collection and analysis on that body of cases." ®.
