Dionne Marie Hanna, known for the hit Netflix documentary Con Mum, has been arrested after some of the other victims recognised her from the show.The Singapore resident allegedly scammed her own son, reaching out to Graham Hornigold in 2020 claiming to be his long lost mother and DNA testing proving as such, with the show telling that story.However, it seems he wasn’t her only victim, with the 84-year-old facing five counts of fraud that involves three people who recognised her from the Netflix production, and contacted authorities.

Graham Hornigold in Con Mum Pic: NetflixShe appeared in court via video link, and according to local media, she was in a hospital bed in Singapore’s Tan Tock Seng, but the reason why is unclear and she faces up to 20 years in jail, as well as a fine.Singapore officials revealed that they received various complaints from alleged victims after the Netflix documentary dropped on the streaming giant, with an estimate of the losses totaling around £115,000 (€135k).The Singapore Police said: ‘As part of the arrangement to receive monies for the investment and inheritance, the victims were asked to transfer money for legal fees and opening of overseas bank accounts.
The victims believed her investment and release of inheritance to be genuine and made several transfers to her.’.
