(WSAV) -- The Community Advancement Leadership Institute (CALI) provides individuals and organizations with free and low-cost training opportunities to build their capacity for personal and professional growth. On April 12, Super Saturday trainings empower individuals, community leaders, and residents with essential leadership skills, including communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
Participants gain tools for sustainable community development and building resilient neighborhoods. The program focuses on addressing local needs and improving the overall quality of life.CALI INFORMATION: CALI sessions will focus on equipping Savannahians with the tools and skills necessary to succeed and contribute to their community with the aim of creating a thriving and empowered community where adults, youth, grassroots organizations, and nonprofit agencies achieve self-sufficiency and sustainable growth.
Each CALI session throughout the year will be deployed under one of the initiative’s four focuses:Community and Neighborhood Leadership Development: Sessions designed to equip individuals, community leaders, and residents with skills needed for sustainable community development.Nonprofit and Organizational Leadership Development: Sessions provide skills to strengthen and grow nonprofit organizations including strategies for effective leadership, strategic planning, capacity building, and fundraising.Career and Personal Leadership Development: Career and personal development sessions will enhance participant’s knowledge and confidence in navigating their career path, covering various aspects of personal and professional growth.
Youth Leadership Development: Sessions will empower young individuals with skills and knowledge to become effective leaders, focusing on several key leadership qualities..
