Commodore J Suresh becomes commandant of Navy’s Embarkation Headquarters in Chennai

Commodore J Gurumani (Left) and Commodore J Suresh CHENNAI: Commodore J Suresh , a senior naval officer, assumed office as the new commandant of the Embarkation Headquarters in Chennai on Monday. Commodore Suresh has vast experience and expertise in logistics, troop movement and strategic operations. With a distinguished career in the Indian Navy, he has held various leadership positions that have honed his capabilities in overseeing complex military operations and coordinating logistical functions essential to national defence, according to a release.

Under his leadership, the Embarkation Headquarters in Chennai is set to continue playing a vital role in managing troop and equipment movements, coordinating with civil authorities and ensuring that military personnel receive seamless support and logistics services, it said. Embarkation Headquarters staff members warmly welcomed Commodore J Suresh. They extended their gratitude to Commodore J Gurumani , who has been transferred to naval headquarters in New Delhi.
