Commissioner visits SWMC dumping site

SARGODHA - Commissioner Jahanzaib Awan and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Waseem visited the Solid Waste Management Company’s (SWMC) dumping site near Chak No 91 NB. Accompanied by CEO SWMC Rana Shahid Imran, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Umar Farooq, and Assistant Commissioner Syed Asad Abbas Shirazi, the officers were briefed about the initiative. It was revealed that 1,600 saplings were planted along a one-kilometer stretch adjacent to the dumping site.

They were also informed about the use of a digital dashboard to monitor and address public complaints regarding cleanliness. Tags: commissioner visits swmc.
