LAHORE - Lahore Divisional Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood conducted a surprise inspection of the Emergency and Outpatient Departments (OPD) at Punjab Dental Hospital, here on Wednesday. During the visit, he reviewed the availability and provision of medicines at the hospital pharmacy, checked cleanliness standards, restroom facilities, and verified the attendance of relevant staff members. He visited various sections of the OPD, assessed dental treatments being provided, and directly engaged with patients to gather feedback on medical services.
He also inspected the patient registration process, observed the performance of the registration counter staff, and reviewed the duty rosters of doctors and staff on the morning shift. Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood emphasized that the purpose of such surprise visits is to ensure that citizens are receiving the medical facilities promised to them. “The Punjab government considers the provision of public healthcare services a top priority,” he stated.
