Washington Commanders duo Jayden Daniels and Noah Brown may have won the U.S. election for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris , according to an historic rule.
An unusual trend was first noticed by Steve Hirdt, executive vice president of the Elias Sports Bureau, which suggests that the 18-15 win for the Commanders over the Chicago Bears means that the Democrats will win the election on Nov. 5. A stunning finish to the game between the Commanders and the Bears saw Daniels scramble for a Hail Mary and find Brown in the end zone for a walk-off win after the ball was tipped into his hands by Chicago cornerback Tyrique Stevenson.
It was one of the plays of the season and saw Daniels boost his NFL MVP odds, but it may have a much bigger impact. The Commanders face the New York Giants on the road in Week 9, meaning they've won their final home game before the 2024 election. Based on the theorized "Redskins Rule" it means that Harris and the Democrats can expect to defeat Donald Trump and the Republicans on Nov.

When Washington won its final home game before the upcoming election, the party in power retained the presidency.
When Washington lost their final home game, the other party won the election and obtained power. However, the theory suffered its first incorrect result when the Commanders lost to the Green Bay Packers in 2004 and George W. Bush was re-elected.

All eyes are now on Nov. 5 to see if the heroics of Daniels have impacted a major U.S.
election as Trump seeks his second term. The game between the Commanders and the Bears saw the top two picks from the 2024 NFL Draft face-off, as Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams was outclassed by No. 2 selection Daniels.
The Commanders were 12-0 up before a late Bears comeback saw them take the lead for the first time with only 25 seconds remaining. Daniels scrambled for nearly 13 seconds and then tossed the ball from the Commanders' 35-yard line with zero seconds on the clock before the miracle happened. Daniels wasn't even able to see the catch but reflected on the special moment after the game.

That's how I knew," Daniels said. "That's kind of like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Not too many people get to experience stuff like that." Daniels was also celebrated by Brown, who caught the game-winning touchdown. "We're blessed to have '5' leading this team: The things he can do is special," Brown said of the rookie.
"I wouldn't want to play with any other quarterback.".
