4 million total applications the poll body has received a year before the 2025 midterm elections.

6 million of them are new voters and more than 600,000 are reactivating.) Laudiangco then said more applications are expected before the month ends, especially for those persons seeking reactivation.

(We do expect that in the next two weeks that are left for registration, more people will apply as newly registered voters, especially those who have been deactivated.) Comelec previously extended the deadline for the online application for reactivation from September 7 to 25.
